  3. It's good that you can remember the good times with Honey. When you have taken a dog full circle, completely through the time of life, remembering the wonderful times together are such a comfort to the soul.

  20. Heya Kristin and Dave,
It sure is good to hear from y'all. Honey is still in our minds as much as she is in yours. Thanks for sharing her life with us and for posting these pictures. It sure is easy to tell that Honey is a best loved dog. Could you plese email us (bumpasshounds@hughes.net) your mailing address cuz we got something we want to send along to you now that a little time has passed. We hope that times is easing the pain a bit, but ya know it'll never erase the memories. Hopefully you still get a chance to see Samantha and can pet on her. We wish we could have been around to help you with slurpy licks, tail wag slaps and snout nuzzles.

  25. Just returned from a holiday in the Isle of Skye and was thinking about you. These pictures are great - Honey was just so loved and will be so missed. Her legacy is undoubtedly happy memories of good times shared with you both. Loved the pictures of her with her dad's shoes on - she was just so special. A happy life surrounded by love - what more could any of us ask. Take care. xxx

  27. Thank you for sharing some of your wonderful memories!

Martha Basset suggested we name our new foster puppy Honey in honor of Honey. This is a tiny little puppy, honey colored, who just popped out from under a bush in a parking lot with no visible guardians anywhere. We have a Honey now!
